St. Paul’s participates in the safety cadet (school crossing guard) program along with the rest of the Wisconsin Rapids schools. This is a service organization where students in the grades 5-8 have the opportunity to care for the safety of students from our school and the community. To show their appreciation for this extremely valuable service, the program offers awards and a trip to Wisconsin Dells, and a chance to win a bike. Mr. John Quint is the program coordinator working with the designated Wisconsin Rapids Police Department's Safety Officer. We will also be using the safety cadets to help with the monitoring of the cafeteria before school from 8:00-8:30.
