Advent
ad-vent
         /’ad,vent/ noun.
The coming or arrival, especially of something extremely important.

The word advent means coming. The season of Advent is a time of expectant waiting and preparation for the coming of Christ. We share in the ancient longing for the  coming of the Messiah, which was fulfilled by Jesus Christ on that first Christmas. And, we wait with joyful expectation for Christ’s second coming on the last day.
Midweek Advent Services

A miracle is not an ordinary event. It is the impossible made possible; the unexpected becoming reality. That is why Christmas is a miracle. During this advent season, we will focus on the miracle in the manger. Each Wednesday we will worship at 4:00 PM and then again at 6:30 PM. A meal is served between services to give relief from time in the kitchen. Join with your brothers and sisters in Christ as we worship during the Wednesdays of Advent.

Advent Suppers

Join us for supper on Wednesdays in Advent. The meal will be served from 4:45 – 6:00 PM  Members are asked to bring cookies, bars or another dessert item to share.  We ask that those who are able, help out either with set up, serving, or clean up depending on when you arrive.
