Sports
“Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit? Therefore honor God with your body.”
- 1 Corinthians 6:19-20

Year after year we strive to improve our sports program.  To help with the development of physical and mental skills, our school participates in various organized sports for girls and boys.  We compete in basketball, volleyball, and track and field.

All parents are urged to please pick up their children promptly after practice.

If a student athlete has a failing grade average in a subject at the end of any academic quarter, he or she is automatically ineligible to participate in any sport during the following quarter.  Failing grades, use of tobacco or illegal substances, or infraction of training rules make a student ineligible for any awards.

Volleyball

The volleyball season is in the early fall.  We have a co-ed team.  Practices are on  Tuesday and Thursday at 3:30-5:00 p.m.

Our coaches are Rachel Haugley, Kellie Jensen, and Jessica Kruger.

Track & Field

In mid-May, our students in grades 5-8 compete in a track & field competition in Wausau.  The track meet is organized and run by Northland Lutheran High School for the Lutheran grade schools throughout the region.

Later in May, our K-4 students compete in a school track meet held at St. Paul's and Mead Field, across the street.
